On every project James works well beyond his remit as a surveyor, and gets fully immersed into the detail of the scheme working in close collaboration with all team members. His non-adversarial firm but fair approach has ensured his popularity with Ashe, our clients and our supply chain. James has experience across a range of construction sectors, from passivhaus primary school schemes to apartment blocks and from industry leading motor testing facilities to environmentally focused office buildings. With his in depth approach to surveying and delivers high standards on each scheme he works on.

Roles & Responsibilities
James will attend initial meetings with other Ashe team members, the design team and client to identify the client’s key drivers (Customer alignment). He will produce ongoing estimates for the works; working closely with contract and operations managers to compile risk registers and mitigation plans for each project. James will supply updated cost information throughout the project duration, firming up the risk register as each project proceeds and pricing of variations to enable the client team to make appropriately timed decisions.
