Starting with Ashe as a roofer, the company had a plan for me and has helped me to progress to site manager, then project manager and now I’m a contracts manager. I’m really pleased that with hard work and commitment I’ve been able to progress so far over the years.

I really enjoy the complexity of the different projects and the great team around me. The challenges the projects pose excite me and motivate me to perform to my very best. It allows you to become creative and think ‘outside the box’.
The company has upskilled me with a range of training including NVQ Level 6 to personal development training, and workshops which have allowed me to push myself in ways that I wasn’t aware of before.
We support several charities and as a football fanatic, I was able to play in a charity match against one of our suppliers and managed to score! It was a really memorable day and a great bonding activity amongst our team.
I’m looking forward to the opportunity to help establish a pitched tile department in the business. There’s always room to grow with Ashe.
