Jo joined Ashe as our Compliance Manager in 2017 and quickly showed her proactive and effective nature, revamping our compliance department with new processes and procedures to ensure best practice amongst our construction delivery teams. Jo’s energetic and enthusiastic approach to quality has ensured Ashe’s continued attainment of ISO 9001 and recent membership of the ‘Get It Right Initiative’ a group of industry experts, organisations and businesses dedicated to eliminating error and improving the UK construction industry.

Role & Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain procedures to develop standard documentation for construction works, Quality Control and assurance for the projects • Review existing standard documentation for the Operations Centre and propose any improvements deemed necessary • Promote the importance of Quality within Construction to all areas of the Business • Undertake/manage Site Audits and Inspections to ascertain compliance with requirements of the company Management Systems • Liaise with Subcontractors and the co ordination and review of their documents and specifications • Visits projects in attendance with External Quality Auditors to discuss problem areas and areas of good practice and relay information accordingly • Ensure that all works carried out are as per specification and review Sub contractor performance • Provide Quality KPIs to Ashe top level management • Ensure that all required documentation is being carried out and returned in a timely manner • Work with Site Team to establish a soft landing to client
