Peter is a multiple award winning Site Manager, having been awarded: Winner of the Build in Quality Award for Houses & Apartments 2007 from Birmingham City Council, and Winner of the RICS 2013 award for Restoration Buildings. Peter was quick to show his credibility and experience when he joined Ashe and has become a valuable member of the Ashe Site Management team. His approachable nature and friendly personality ensures excellent lines of communication from the site teams to the clients and project managers. Peter has been awarded Ashe’s Site Manager of the Year and our Site Quality Award in 2018 and 2019 evidencing his high delivery standards.

Role & Responsibilities
Peter will be in full control of the construction site on a daily basis. He will control and direct his on site construction team, liaising with the client’s project manager on a daily basis. He will keep in constant communication with his designers and other members of the Ashe team to ensure he has the latest up to date construction information. He will liaise as required with statutory bodies to ensure project compliance at all levels. He will ensure the supply chain are kept abreast of the construction programme, requisitioning labour and materials when appropriate to maintain progress, formulating short term programmes to ensure planned work occurs when it should, and to assist in catching up lost time or to accommodate client variations. He will ensure that high standards with regards to health, safety and quality are maintained at all times and that other important considerations such as good neighbour and environmental issues are fully taken account of, including the implementation of the companies social value proposals for each scheme.

Memorable Achievement
Completing my first project for Ashe at Red Kite Academy in Corby. The project was completed on time, to budget and totally snag free for Children with special needs, a scheme I’m extremely proud of. Completing the new classroom block at Belswains school in Hemel Hempstead which again was completed on time, to budget and totally snag free and which was highly commended at the 2020 Façade Awards UK.
