We’ve reached another milestone in our quest to reduce our carbon emissions having just received news from Community Wood Recycling, our wood recycling partner, that we saved an incredible 50 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions (CO₂e) being emitted to the atmosphere during 2024.

By recycling, we rescued 99.5 tonnes of wood from the waste stream with 19.8 tonnes of our wood waste being reused. Seven tonnes have been reused as fire wood and 72.7 tonnes has been recycled into woodchip for particle board, animal bedding or as carbon neutral fuel in power stations.

Through our partnership, we’ve also helped Community Wood Recycling create jobs and train people through their social enterprises.
