Achieving high quality standards begins and ends with the performance of our people, both within Ashe and across our supply chain.
We train and develop everyone involved in our projects, recruiting people with the right skills but also the right attitude, who share our commitment to delivering the highest standards.
Our systems and procedures are accredited under ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, and we invest in technology plus learning and development programmes to enable high performance. We have silver accreditation for Investors in People and a top quartile position amongst the 170 construction companies of our size. We are approaching gold accreditation standard.
On each new project, whether roofing or construction, Ashe engages early with clients and their stakeholders to fully understand and take ownership of the planned works.
Once on site, there are weekly meetings with the build teams to assess progress including specification compliance. These discussions lead to detailed short-term plans, aligned with overall long-term programme planning.
We utilise Plan Radar on site, a system that electronically records and alerts supplier partners and build teams of defects in real time. This live quality report drives remedial work to be completed soon after being detected, eliminating any knock on effects and ensuring end product quality standards.
CSI Ltd quality inspectors visit all our sites to check quality management, immediate reporting of defects, monitoring and swift correction. They also meet our senior management periodically to review reports and project statistics, and to develop continuous improvement measures.
