I’ve been given opportunities to help my career development such as volunteering, helping to run ceremonies and talking to students about my role.
Starting with Ashe as a roofer, the company had a plan for me and has helped me to progress to site manager, then project manager and now I’m a contracts manager.
Ashe is funding my HNC qualification and I attend college one day a week, which has really helped with growing my understanding of site supervision.
There’s a real feeling that it’s a family run business and a strong connection between everyone from apprentice to director.
I get a great sense of achievement when we hit a deadline and see the look of gratitude (and sometimes disbelief!) in the clients’ eyes.
My role allows my creativity to come through within content writing, graphic design, photography, and video production.
